Symposium on Wireless Sensor Technologies and Applications (WSTA’17)

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are commonly used in pervasive and ubiquitous applications. The advancement in wireless domain, smart sensors, and Internet of Things applications opened up a whole new space for WSN.  The exploration of smart sensor network has facilitated innovative applications in various fields such as homeland security, early warning systems, supply chain, global logistics, surveillance, resource discovery, emergency response, healthcare, and other time and life critical situations. The Symposium on Wireless Sensor Technologies and Applications (WSTA’17) aims to provide a platform to share, discuss, and explore the recent advances in wireless sensors and sensor networks. WSTA’17 is co-affiliated with Sixth International Conference on Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2017), September 13-16, 2017, Manipal, India. 
The program committee solicits original research papers to be considered for presentation at the symposium and publication in the proceedings. Authors should submit their papers online. We use EDAS system for managing submissions and review process. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Detailed usage instruction on EDAS can be found here. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. Please compare all author names in EDAS with the author list in your paper. They must be identical and in the same order. All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. To be published in the Proceedings, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full rate. All accepted papers MUST be presented at the conference by one of the authors, or, if none of the authors are able to attend, by a qualified surrogate.
