The Second International Symposium on Assistive Technologies for the Differently Abled (ATDA'18) is the first of its kind to draw the attention of the professionals from technology and rehabilitation to address the pressing needs of the differently abled persons. With the overwhelming advances in the technology in the last two decades, this symposium aims to address how this advances could be potentially applied for the well being of the needy. The symposium provides a platform for the effective interaction between the professionals from the rehabilitation sector and those from the technical sector to discuss the needs of the differently abled individuals. Further it facilitates brainstorming sessions on how the existing technologies could be effectively used to address these needs or newer technologies could be developed on a need basis.
