The computer networks are becoming increasingly complex with time due to several factors including the introduction of sophisticated technologies and protocols and increase in network size. At the same time, computational intelligence and machine learning techniques gain benefit from many successful applications of these techniques in diverse problems. The application of these techniques in computer networks and distributed systems provides promising solutions to address several challenges. The International Symposium on Applications of Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning in Networked Systems (ACMiNS) provides a venue for presenting innovative ideas to discuss future research agendas on computational intelligence and machine learning in networked systems.

ACMiNS’017 is co-affiliated with Sixth International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI'17), Manipal, India. ICACCI'17 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). The Conference is technically supported by three techncial committees of IEEE ComSoc: Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC), Technical Committee on Communications Switching and Routing (TC CSR) and Information Infrastructure and Networking Technical Committee. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

The ACMiNS'17 will be held in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University, Manipal, India on September 13-16, 2017. Manipal is a university town with beauty and natural scenery, one of the most peaceful and soothing travel destinations of India. Situated in the state of Karnataka, Manipal is placed on a plateau between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea, Manipal enjoys stunning views from several locations, dotted with fascinating lakes and beaches that serve as an attractive tourist point.
