International Workshop on Recent Advances in Medical Informatics
(RAMI-2012), 3 - 5 August 2012, Chennai, India
http://www.icacci-conference.org/RAMI2012.html
Medical informatics is a fast-growing interdisciplinary field of study that underlines the use of computer technology to help organize, analyze, manage and use information in improving health care. Its main objectives are to develop standards and clinical guidelines, formalize medical terminology, augment the usability of health information systems to enable communication and manage the flow of information from physicians to patients. The rapid evolution of medical informatics and its subdomains makes it vital for researchers to stay abreast of current advances and emerging trends. The purpose of first International Workshop on Recent Advances in Medical Informatics (RAMI-2012) is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) to healthcare and allied areas.
RAMI-2012 is techncially sponsored by Indian Association for Medical Informatics (IAMI).
