The goal of ICACCI Doctoral Consortium is to help PhD students with their thesis and research plans by providing feedback and general advice in a constructive and international atmosphere. The Doctoral Consortium will run in conjunction with the Fourth International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI 2015), Kochi, India.

The format of papers is identical to Springer LNCS series format. You can find useful these formatting tips. Papers that do not follow these format requirements may be rejected without review or may be not included in the journal even if they were accepted for publication.There is no limit to the number of pages.

Submissions should be made via EDAS conference management system. Submissions that do not comply with the instructions will not be considered. By submitting a paper, the doctoral student implicitly agrees that in case of acceptance he/she will register to the conference and present the paper.

Your submission should clearly state:

• Motivation, problem description
• State of the art
• Novelty and significance relative to the state of the art
• Approach and proposed experiments (where appropriate)
• Results obtained and work in progress
• Keywords and key references of the presented work.

All submissions will undergo a thorough reviewing process with a view to providing detailed and constructive feedback. The program committee will select the best submissions for presentation at the Doctoral Consortium and publication in the proceedings. Notification of acceptance/rejection of submitted articles will be sent to the authors by e-mail. The authors of the accepted papers will be allowed to make corrections in accordance with the suggestions of the reviewers and submit final camera-ready papers within the stipulated deadline.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the popular open access journal, Research in Computing Science. This journal is indexed by DBLP and published by National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico.

The Consortium is open to all Ph.D. students and recent Ph.D. graduates.

At least one author is required to register at the full registration rate. The registration fee is INR 9000 (For International Authors: USD160) for all categories of authors. For the registered authors of ICACCI, ISTA, VisionNet, WCI and SSCC, the fee will be INR 5000 (USD 80).

They have decided to collaborate with CSWTM in order to fine tune the outstanding German technology on water to be ideally standardized for Indian local conditions for solving the water related problems in the country. CSWTM is envisaged to be a Center of Excellence in water in the coming years.

Department of Computer Science and Enginnering at SSET has always given paramount importance to research. Research areas include Desktop and Mobile Malware Detection, Image Security, Information and Network Security, Security in Mobile Ad- Hoc Networks, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing and Natural Language Processing. The Mechatronics Research is an area gaining wide application in industry. A section of the Department is researching into the different aspects of application of electronics in the automotives and other equipments which uses electronics to improve their performance and save cost. The team at SCMS has developed a system by which the efficiency of auto engines can be improved and it is reaching its final stages for making a public announcement.

Recently SSET entered into an alliance with People’s Friendship University of Russia for academic cooperation in research and also for student and faculty exchange. Through this alliance the enormous technology job opportunities in Russia is opened to students of SSET. SSET is the only engineering college in India to have such an arrangement with a top Russian University.

SSET has also entered into tie-ups with industry leaders and reputed trainers for conducting value added courses, personality development programmes and for career preparation.
