International Workshop on Emerging Topics in Mechatronic Circuits and Systems (ETMCS'16)
Mechatronic systems are being increasingly investigated owing to their versatile use and imminence with disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and information systems. The integration between the components (hardware) and the information-driven functions (software), results in mechatronic systems which find their application in households, healthcare and defense apart from their contextual use in industry. Development of such mechatronic systems requires interdisciplinary knowledge of mechanism designs, sensor and actuators, automatic digital information processing and control in which embedded systems play a key role.
The goal of the aimed workshop is to bring together experts from the fields of mechatronic and embedded systems to disseminate the recent advances, discuss future research directions, and exchange their experiences in implementing these systems.
Manuscripts with recent findings in the following fields, which are few and only representative, are invited from all those interested:
- Autonomous and Intelligent Systems
- Bio-Mechatronics - Medical Devices & Technologies
- Cloud Computing and Emerging Technologies for Mechatronic and Embedded Systems
- Cyber-Physical Systems and Hybrid Systems
- Design and Control Methodologies for Mechatronic and Embedded Systems
- Diagnosis and Monitoring in Mechatronic Systems
- Embedded Systems Infrastructure and Theory
- Mechatronics for Advanced Manufacturing
- Mechatronic Control and Electrical Vehicular Systems
- Mechatronics and Embedded Systems Applications
- Mechatronic and Embedded Systems for Renewable Energy Systems
- Mechatronic and Embedded Technologies in Intelligent Transportation Systems
- Mechatronics for Hazardous Environments
- Robotics and Mobile Machines
- Sensors and Actuators
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technologies and Applications
- Virtual Prototyping in Mechatronics
Authors should submit their papers online via EDAS. Further instructions for submission are posted at http://icacci-conference.org/set-cas2016/sub.html
All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. All accepted papers will be published in the Conference proceedings.
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. This will be indexed by DBLP and by SCOPUS and Web of Science (THOMSON REUTERS Conference Proceedings Citation Index).
