International Workshop on Advances in Bio-Inspired Computing (BioCom’13)

Biologically inspired computing is a major area in natural computation and it is very much associated to the field of artificial intelligence. It is the use of computers to model nature, and simultaneously the study of nature to perk up the usage of computers. Biologically inspired mechanisms have already proved successful in accomplishing major breakthroughs in a wide range of problems in various computing systems.

The International workshop on Bio-Inspired Computing (BioCom’13) aims to provide an international forum for academicians, engineers, researchers, scientists and practitioners working in theoretical, experimental or applied areas of  bio-inspired computing to present their recent results and exchange ideas.


BioCom’13 invites them to submit their original and unpublished work that demonstrates current research in all areas of bio-inspired computing. All submissions will be thoroughly peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance and clarity, only papers presenting novel research results or successful innovative applications are considered for publication in the conference proceedings. Authors should submit their papers online using EDAS. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Accepted papers will be published in the ICACCI 2013 Proceedings which will be available through IEEE Xplore® after the conference. Further guidelines for submission are posted at:
