Call for Extended Abstracts

To be considered for presentation as well as publication, prospective authors should submit a 4-8 page extended abstract of their research. Final year students are encouraged to submit extended abstracts based on their project works.

What is an Extended Abstract?
An extended abstract is a research paper whose ideas and significance can be understood in less than an hour.
An extended abstract is not simply a long abstract. An extended abstract usually contains references, comparisons to related work, proofs of key theorems and other details expected in a research paper but not in an abstract.
Some things that can be omitted from an extended abstract: future work, details of proofs or implementation that should seem plausible to reviewers, ramifications not relevant to the key ideas of the abstract. Please note that you are free to arrange the material as you wish.

All submissions must be in English and should be made via the online submission system at The deadline for submission of your extended abstract is Saturday, June 30, at 07:00PM IST.

The following template MUST BE used for the preparation of your extended abstract:

Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. All accepted Extended Abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings with ISBN. Also each article will be assigned Digital Object Identifier (DOI). At least one full paying author must register for the symposium before the indicated deadline. Participation certificates will be issued to all the presenters.

If your abstract is accepted for oral presentation, you will be limited to 10 minutes with 3 minutes immediately following for Q&A from the audience.

Authors of posters are required to display a poster on the designated poster panel. Poster Size is 100 cm long and 90 cm wide. They have to attend the Interactive Poster Session to answer questions. Poster template is available at Please use this template to prepare your poster.
