Welcome to VisionNet’17 Website!

The goal of computer vision is to make computers see the world around them. It has made incredible progress in the past decade. With the explosion of images and video on the web, dealing with the large amount of unorganized visual data available has become immensely challenging. Large search engines are being created to make sense out of this data. The Internet has become an increasingly important tool for computer vision research.

The Fourth International Symposium on Computer Vision and the Internet (VisionNet’17) aims to bring together leading researchers to take stock of the state of the art, identify key challenges, and propose new directions. VisionNet’17 is co-affiliated with Sixth International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI'17), Manipal, India.

ICACCI'17 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). The Conference is technically supported by three techncial committees of IEEE ComSoc: Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC), Technical Committee on Communications Switching and Routing (TC CSR) and Information Infrastructure and Networking Technical Committee. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

The Conference will be held in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University, Manipal, India during September 13-16, 2017.
