Special Session on Collaborative Computing, Networking and Applications

Collaborative Computing is one of the significant technology trends that changed the information processing in recent years. Many organizations and individuals have relied on electronic collaboration between distributed teams of humans, computer systems and applications. Technology has evolved from standalone tools, to open systems supporting collaboration, and from general purpose tools to specialized collaboration grids. Future collaboration solutions that fully realize the promises of electronic collaboration require advancements in networking, technology and systems, user interfaces and interaction paradigms, and interoperation with application-specific components and tools.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborative infrastructure
  • Collaborative information retrieval
  • Collaboration techniques in data-intensive computing
  • Service-oriented architectures for collaborative networking
  • Collaborative technologies for creation and deployment of services
  • Distributed collaborative workflows
  • Workflow management for collaborative networks/systems
  • Energy management for collaborative networks
  • Quality of services in collaborative networks
  • Collaboration in health-care environments
  • Human-centric ubiquitous collaboration
  • Security, privacy and trust management in collaborative networks, systems, and applications
  • Data management and middleware support for collaborative information systems
  • Multi-agent technology for collaborative networking and applications
  • Collaboration in pervasive and cloud computing environments

Authors should submit their papers online using EDAS. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Further guidelines for submission are posted at: http://icacci-conference.org/web/call-for-papers

All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. At least one full paying author of each accepted paper must register for the conference before the indicated deadline. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
