Special Session on Intelligent Information Retrieval
In the current global Information Technology scenario, voluminous information is available for processing. They are heterogeneous in nature and lack in precision and completeness. Traditional information retrieval systems are incompetent to handle these data. The current research on intelligent information retrieval systems focuses on capturing semantic descriptions of information which leads to relevant information retrieval. Soft computing techniques when combined with IIR help to address the impreciseness and uncertainty of data/information. The objective of this special session is to provide a research forum for discussing how intelligent and soft computing techniques would help in improving the preciseness of information retrieved from search engines.
The contributions may include algorithms, tools and applications of intelligent and soft computing techniques within the field of web based systems, soft computing, cloud computing, pervasive computing, grid computing and not limited to:
- Fuzzy information retrieval
- Context based information retrieval
- Cognitive models for information retrieval
- Music information retrieval
- Multimedia information management and retrieval
- Content based information extraction and retrieval
- Rough set theory based ontology matching for information retrieval
- IIR Frameworks for web based, cloud, grid and pervasive computing
- IIR frameworks for domains like Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Business etc.
Authors should submit their papers online using EDAS. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Further guidelines for submission are posted at: http://icacci-conference.org/web/call-for-papers
All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. At least one full paying author of each accepted paper must register for the conference before the indicated deadline. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
