Welcome to VisionNet 2015 Website!
The goal of computer vision is to make computers see the world around them. It has made incredible progress in the past decade. With the explosion of images and video on the web, dealing with the large amount of unorganized visual data available has become immensely challenging. Large search engines are being created to make sense out of this data. The Internet has become an increasingly important tool for computer vision research. The Second International Symposium on Computer Vision and the Internet (VisionNet’15) aims to bring together leading researchers to take stock of the state of the art, identify key challenges, and propose new directions. VisionNet’15 is co-located with Fourth International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2015), Kerala, India.
All accepted and presented papers will be published in the symposium proceedings. The post conference proceedings will be published by Elsevier in the Procedia Computer Science Journal (ISSN: 1877-0509). Procedia Computer Science is hosted on Elsevier Content platform ScienceDirect, and will be freely available worldwide. All papers in Procedia will be indexed by Scopus and by Thomson Reuters' Conference Proceeding Citation Index.
