International Workshop on Cyber-Physical Systems and Social Computing (CSSC-2014)

The physical world when combined with the computational elements having the capability of interacting with each other form a cyber-physical system. These interactions can influence the behaviour of the systems and the physical world, making use of the social computing principles. The collaborative uses of the computing resources enabled by social computing rationales open up a new paradigm in cyber-physical system design, applications and architectures. The first International Workshop on Cyber-Physical Systems and Social Computing (CSSC-2014) will be held in conjunction with Third International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2014), Delhi, India. The objective of CSSC-2014 is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the areas of Cyber-Physical Systems and Social Computing.

Original contributions previously unpublished are solicited in relevant areas including (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Architecture and Infrastructure for Cyber Physical Systems
  • Behaviour and Analysis of Cyber-Physical Systems in Social Computing Networks
  • Cloud Computing for Cyber-Physical Systems
  • Computing for Human Experience
  • Design and Innovative Application of Online Social Networking
  • Emerging Applications of Social Computing and Cyber-Physical Systems
  • Information Fusion in Cyber-Physical Systems
  • Infrastructure Development of Cyber-Physical Systems and Architectures
  • Methodologies and Tools for Cyber-Physical Systems
  • Security, Privacy, Trust and Safety
  • Social Computing Theories, System Design and Architectures
  • Social Network Analysis/Mining, Behaviour Modelling, Semantic Web
  • Ubiquitous Sensing With Socially Produced Input

Authors should submit their papers online via EDAS. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Further guidelines for submission are posted at:

All submissions will be thoroughly peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance and clarity, only papers presenting novel research results or successful innovative applications are considered for publication in the conference proceedings. The accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Independently of the presentation type, all papers are included in the proceedings.
