International Workshop on Advances in Satellite Communications and Networking (SatComNet’14)

In both industrialized and developing countries, economic and social progress depends on improved telecommunications. Communication in the whole of the World is revolutionized with the advent of Satellites. The role of Satellite networks in global communications is growing at an unprecedented pace. Future Internet will be benefited from Satellite connectivity in terms of global coverage, ubiquitous connectivity, network deployability and resilience. However, there exist several challenges to be addressed for the realization of these objectives.

The first International Workshop on Advances in Satellite Communications and Networking (SatComNet’14​) will be held in conjunction with Third International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2014), Delhi, India. The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the form of technical papers and tutorials of ideas in the field of Satellite communications and networking.

All submissions will be thoroughly peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance and clarity, only papers presenting novel research results or successful innovative applications are considered for publication in the conference proceedings. The accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Independently of the presentation type, all papers are included in the proceedings.​
