Call for Papers

High-quality papers that at the time of submission are not under review or have not already been published or accepted for publication elsewhere are solicited. Authors should submit their papers online. We use EDAS system for submission of papers and review process. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. All submitted papers will be subjected to a "similarity test" by EDAS paper similarity checker. Papers achieving a high similarity score will be examined and those that are deemed unacceptable will be rejected/withdrawn without a formal review. Please compare all author names in EDAS with the author list in your paper. They must be identical and in the same order.

The specific topic areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • 3D Modeling
  • Aging Pattern Analysis
  • Binary Codes for Large Scale Computer Vision
  • Compact Hashing for Large-Scale Visual Search
  • Discrete-Continuous Optimization
  • Duplicate Discovery
  • Geospatial Context for Computer Vision
  • Heterogeneous Feature Tracking
  • Image Categorization
  • Image Filtering and Hybrid Images
  • Indexing Algorithms and Data Structures
  • Integration of Metadata and Visual Content Analysis for Web Image Retrieval
  • Joint Image and Text Modelling
  • Keyword Based Image Search
  • Large Scale Image Retrieval
  • Learning from Incomplete Image Tags
  • Modeling, Reconstruction, and Visualization
  • Motion Tracking and Stereo Vision
  • Multi-Label Learning
  • Multimodal Sentiment Analysis
  • Natural User Interfaces
  • Rich Advertising
  • Segmentation and Grouping
  • Semantic Analysis of Images and Videos
  • Understanding Human Motion
  • Visual Analysis in Social Networking
  • Visual Models and Feature Representations
  • Web Services for Evaluating and Federating Vision Algorithms

All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to workshop, contributions, and readability. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. The authors of the accepted papers will be allowed to make corrections in accordance with the suggestions of the reviewers and submit final camera-ready papers within the stipulated deadline.
