International Workshop on Application of Thresholds in Algorithms, Circuits and Systems (Threshnomics-2014)

The International Workshop on Application of Thresholds in Algorithms, Circuits and Systems (Threshnomics-2014) provides a forum to discuss a wide range of topics in the emerging area of threshonomics. The suffix ‘-omics’ has been added to the names of many fields to denote studies undertaken on a large scale. Threshold science has become pervasive in everyday life of making decisions at different levels of importance within varying velocity and volume.

Threshnomics-2014 provides the researchers with an opportunity to discuss Threshnomics as applied to algorithms, circuits and electronic systems. Threshnomics-2014 is affiliated with third International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics (ICACCI-2014), Delhi, India.

The scope of this workshop includes but not limited to the following topics:

•    Threshold Logic algorithms and circuits
•    Outlier detection, removal and statistics
•    Binary and multi-level decisions
•    Memristive, and neural networks
•    Fuzzy sets using thresholds
•    Thresholds in probability theory
•    Application of threshold in optimization problems
•    Application of threshold in classification problems
•    Application of threshold in feature detection problems
•    Applications of threshold in imaging problems
•    Applications of threshold in large data analysis
•    Applications of threshold in real-time systems
•    Applications of threshold in control systems

Authors should submit their papers online using EDAS. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Further guidelines for submission are posted at:

All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. At least one full paying author of each accepted paper must register for the conference before the indicated deadline.  The accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Independently of the presentation type, all papers are included in the proceedings.
