The advances in computation and networking, as well as the occurrence of media sharing on the Internet have drastically increased the availability of multimedia resources. There have been profound changes in the ways of multimedia acquisition, distribution and consumption. Nowadays, streaming media based services are becoming the mainstream of multimedia consumption and it is one of the most exciting and active research topics with continuing significant progress in the multimedia area. The International Workshop on Multimedia Streaming (MultiStreams2012) aims to bring together academicians, researchers, and industry experts to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of multimedia streaming technologies. MultiStreams2011 was co-located with ACC2011, July 22-24, 2011, Kochi, India (Springer).
CALL FOR PAPERS
MultiStreams-2012 invites original and unpublished work from individuals active in the broad theme of the Workshop. The maximum length of the paper is 10 pages (including figures and references). The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers. Authors should submit their papers online. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Further guidelines for submission are posted at http://www.icacci-conference.org/callpaper.html .
All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings. At least one full paying author of each accepted paper must register for the Conference before the indicated deadline.
